Originally designed for track workers, these innovative glasses are set to elevate safety standards across various high-stakes sectors, including oil, gas, energy, infrastructure, law enforcement, and military operations.

The iF Design Award, an esteemed accolade presented annually since 1954, recognizes outstanding design centered on innovation, functionality, and impact. This year, we were proud to be selected from nearly 11,000 entries submitted by 66 countries. An international jury of 131 experts highlighted our Smart Safety Glasses as a standout in the Industry/Tools category, commending their potential to enhance safety and well-being in demanding work environments.

Our Smart Safety Glasses are specifically engineered to boost alertness, particularly during night shifts—a vital requirement for professionals across diverse industries, including oil and gas operations, energy facilities, and critical infrastructure projects. Designed in compliance with EN166 safety standards, these glasses incorporate advanced technology that projects blue light onto the eyes, stimulating brain activity to reduce fatigue and enhance concentration.
The integrated cloud-based app customizes light intensity and duration tailored to each user’s needs, enabling professionals to adapt seamlessly to varying shift patterns and operational demands.

Looking Ahead: Pilot Project Launch
We are excited to announce that an initial pilot project in the rail maintenance sector will soon commence, involving 18 employees from contractor VolkerRail. This initiative is part of VolkerRail’s Winter School program, which focuses on promoting innovation, safety, and well-being. Throughout the pilot, we will assess the glasses across various work environments to refine their features and enhance usability.
