The use of the glasses depends on the desired effect. Wearing the Propeaq with the blue energetic light on is usually sufficient for 30 minutes per day. If you use the orange glasses with the blue light off, half an hour to an hour before going to sleep is sufficient.
PSimply press the on / off switch 1 time to switch the LED lights on. Repeat this to turn them off.
There are two apps from Propeaq that help with the correct use of the light glasses. There is an app with personalized advice to prevent jet lag. Another app helps with night shifts. Both apps personalize advice based on the information provided. The glasses do not communicate with the app and the data remains in the app and is not shared with the makers.

The blue light from the light glasses is very weak and in a bandwidth of which no harmful effects are known. The eyes may be lasered, wear contact lenses or be fitted with an artificial lens. Only people with a retinal defect (retinopathy) are not recommended for use because no research has been done on this.
When the blue light in the glasses is on, we advise against participating in traffic in the dark, due to the flair it might cause reducing your vision. We also advise against taking part in traffic with the orange lenses as you will feel sleepier over time and reduce your alertness.
The Propeaq glasses are a complete system with active light for energy and orange glasses for better sleep. The Premium model also includes dark blue lenses, which can be used as sunglasses and reduce the brightness of the sunlight, but allow the healthy energetic blue light to pass through completely.
On the YouTube Propeaq channel there is a video explaining the box contents and how to change the glasses. No force is needed to push the lenses out of the glasses. Press lightly on the outside of the glass, inwards. The glass hooks on the nose bridge with a recess in the frame. New lenses are first placed with the recess in the nose bridge and then the lens clicks into the frame.
Propeaq glasses need only be worn with light for half an hour. If you cannot see enough because you normally wear glasses, then you are on the propeaq.com website to find opticians who can provide the glasses with prescription lenses. These glasses are also interchangeable. If you only need reading glasses, the glasses can be combined with Nooz reading glasses.
A full battery is good for 2 to 3 hours of active light. Since 30 minutes a day is often sufficient, you can use the glasses for 4 to 5 days. By pressing the on / off button for 3 secosnds, the 3 LEDs indicate the remaining battery charge. It is advisable to charge the glasses with 1 LED.
Two hours on the included USB charger is sufficient to fully charge the battery. Connecting longer to the charger is no problem, but we do not recommend this.
Of course we recommend using the supplied USB cable. However, the glasses can be charged on any standard USB charger with an approved USB cable. On laptops it usually takes a little longer to charge the glasses.
Propeaq glasses have a warranty period of 1 year from the date of delivery and covers the products on material and production errors. Glasses can always be ordered separately.
A great deal of research has been done into the effect of blue light. The Propeaq glasses are even used in a number of studies as a reference because these glasses are the only ones that produce exactly the wavelength of blue light where the scientific studies have noted positive effects. There are links to the various studies on the propeaq website. The researchers Hall, Rosbash and Young have won a Nobel prize for medicine for their research into the biological clock in 2017.
The frame is designed to fit most people. The Propeaq glasses are therefore available in 1 size. Like the better frames, the legs are slightly adjustable by an optician. The glasses are less suitable for children or broad heads.
The Propeaq glasses are supplied in any color you like as long as it is black.
